I require an SD card & can purchase a Scandisk 256mb card or a Kingston 512mb card(on a special offer) for about the same price. Is there a difference in quality or spec between the two makes or is the Kingston just a good buy?

I read a round up of these cards and it concluded that lables made very little discernable difference - branded cards were no better than non-branded ones, and frequently came from the same manufacturing line.

Go for whichever seems the best value for you and enjoy it.
