Second SATA drive

  Martin12 00:57 16 Dec 2006

I have a 250GB SATA drive in my PC. I have a second SATA drive that I wish to use a a data drive. As his second drive is not the root drive I assumed you could just plug it in,format it and its in use. Life is never that easy!!
THe PC recognises it during start up, but windows (XP PRO) will not start, with it connected.
Anyone have any ideas??

During Boot up go into the bios/setup (normaly tap away at DELETE) and make sure that the boot drive is set correctly.
