Worth noting,if using IE7 the fix VoG™ has posted does not support IE7.

Shame really as its a handy little program.Though you could roll back to IE6 via add and remove programs.

thanks skidzy, jayp & vog for trying to help.
internet options are all set ok.
the IEFIX will not work on ie7.
it seems a bit drastic to uninstall internet exlorer and then try to reload an older version.
how will i be able to connect to the internet to do that if i have removed internet explorer???
(bye the way, when i try to print a crossword the error box always appears.)
any other ways to sort the problem???

If you remove Windows Internet Explorer 7 via Control Panel > Add or Remove programs it will revert you to IE6.

Glad your happy with Firefox zanzibar, but i think you need to address fixing IE.

Goto IE in add and remove programs and click uninstall, this will roll back to IE6.
Now if this still cause's you problems, you can use the fix VoG™ posted earlier. All being well,IE6 should be ok.

You will still have Firefox, this will be unaffected.
