Screensaver, temporarily disable

  wint 14:32 16 Oct 2004

Ages ago - probably around Win98 time - I had a utility that would postpone my screensaver from appearing if I positioned my mouse pointer at the top left or right of the screen.

I know some people don't like screensavers but I do...

Anyone got an idea where I might find this utility again?

Is that not part of the O/S as I did it on my friends pc for her. It might be in the screensaver properties bit if anywhere.

Click on the Start button to bring up the Start Menu. The screen saver shouldn't come up whilst the menu is displayed.

There's also Screen Control at:

It's a 184KB screensaver utility that sits in your system tray and lets you run, configure, select and disable screen savers.
