Can anyone recommend a good screengrabber please

Tend to use Screenhunter myself but I'm sure others will suggest some of the many alternatives. click here

I do it the slightly longer way...

Hit the PrtScn button, open Paint, paste what you have secretly hidden in the memory (and touch up, crop etc) and save it as a less memory intensive things (.jpg or similar)

hold 'alt' and press 'Print Screen' and you copy the front active window only
hold 'Ctrl' and press 'print screen' to get the lot back ground windows as well ;)
