kaspersky has told me that schost.exe
has tried to alter the registry,does that mean it has stopped a virus or that i have a virus,

Googling schost.exe resulted in: "schost.exe is a process which is registered as [email protected] virus"

Did you spell it correctly.If the spelling was redcap said it is a Virus/trojan check the spelling again as the proper one is scvhost.exe
