I have a large quantity of colour transparencies which I would like to transfer on to CD.
Can anyone advise what equipment I should use please for this enquiry.

I got a Packard Bell Scanner with Transparency/Negative adapter last year from PC world for about £70. The results are quite good, but darker slides don't show up as well as they do through a projector. It takes a while longer to scan one slide than it does one photograph.

If you are just wanting them for your own use and nothing semi-professional, a scanner like mine would do, but if you are wanting very good quality pictures I think you would need to get a dedicated Negative/Slide scanner and these are about £200 upwards.

Some film scanners (sorted by price - starts at around £70-75) click here= & some scanning tips that may come in handy click here, plus some basic film scanner tips click here. G
