can someone please advise me on byuing a scanner
I want a cheep true 48bit colour paying about £50

Please help as i dont know much about them

You dont need anything fancy then...

48bit? You dont really need that depth of resolution...

42 or even 32 would be ok...

I bought a scanner under the Lifetec brand. Will never buy anything like that again. Iv'e had it for over a year and it makes a terrible noise when scanning. Go for a well known brand such as Canon or Hp etc. It doesn't pay to buy cheap! I have found that a scanner is absolutely invaluable in the home, especially when having to make copies of important docs urgently!
