Is it possible to save Windows XP Service Pack 1 to a CD-RW.How do you save it?

If you have broadband, you can download and save to disk the full sp1a (network installation) click here Even if you have broadband, it's 134MB and you should use a download manager.

Then it's up to you whether you want to create a slipstreamed XP SP1a CD.

Or order an SP1a CD from Microsoft.

Note that SP2 for XP is coming out soon, which will be even a bigger download. You won't be needing SP1 then.

sp2 is due in august supposedly with bags more security etc.
