Saving Adobe downloads

After downloading an Adobe document on Firefox, I don't seem to be able to save it for future reference properly. Exporting the document to HTML or Text certainly saves something but in a totally different format and without pictures. Help please!

Try Right Click on the URL and select "Save Target as..." This should d/l the .pdf to your HD,where you can then view it with Adobes reader.

As Chegs ® says, but you should be able to just click on the Icon "Save a copy" or "File, save a copy" and then select your folder or drive to save to. It will then save as a PDF document on your machine, don't bother to try and change the file ext.

At the top of the Adobe Reader page is a depiction of a floppy disk (to the right of a folder icon). Click on that and you will be able to save the file to a destination of your choice.

Well, that's what I do.
