Saved emails - where are they saved?

In OE6 I created a folder "Saved Emails". Any email I need to save for a while goes in there, but where exactly on the hard disk are these emails saved?

Do a search for *.dbx

VoG™ Thanks. Found it. Unfortunately, Windows can't open it. So how do I see each individual email, other than in OE?

dbx Viewer click here Haven`t used it myself but seen it recommended. Why can`t you use OE?

Sorry Taff™ I didn't say I couldn't use OE, because obviously I can. But if something was to go wrong I would need to know where these files are kept. I don't keep them for very long. Once I have answered them they are deleted. If I feel the need to keep them long term I print them out on to hard copy.

That viewer works really well. I am reading emails I deleted in 2005!!!!

pj123 - I see. Once they are deleted they are more or less lost forever. When I used OE I changed the store folder to one within My Documents. This folder is backed up as part of my normal routine to an external drive so in the event of a disaster I have copies. (It also makes the dbx files a lot easier to locate)
