How can i save a excel file on two hard drives at the same time.
You can't at the same time.Either save to one and then the other or Save to one then copy it to the other.
how about a bat file
You could do this using a macro and you don't even need to know VBA. Just use Tools/Macros/Record new macro.Here are the results of my efforts (save to HDD then FDD):Sub Macro2()ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs Filename:= "C:\Documents and Settings\Default\My Documents\Peter\excel\autonumber.xls", FileFormat:=xlNormal, Password:="", WriteResPassword:="", ReadOnlyRecommended:=False, CreateBackup:=FalseChDir "A:\"ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs Filename:="A:\autonumber.xls", FileFormat:=xlNormal, Password:="", WriteResPassword:="", ReadOnlyRecommended:=False, CreateBackup:=FalseEnd Sub
Thanks VoG I will try this
