SATA 150 & KT4 Ultra board

I have a MSI KT4 Ultra motherboard. Been waiting for months to get my hands on SATA 150 HD's so that I can use RAID. Finally got 2 Seagate SATA 150's but now the problem, do I have to do a full new install of XP, my programmes, docs and files which would take me weeks.

What I hope I can do but I'm not sure, is to leave the old drive in place and add one new SATA 150 drive and then copy everything across. Then remove the old drive, add my 2nd SATA 150 drive & away I go with RAID.

Will this work, if so how do i do it? any advice appreciated.

What raid are you going to be using if raid0 instal both SATA drives and build an array/partitions.Then you can copy everything across from your old drive.

Can I do the same if I use Raid 1?
