Just brought one and it is excellent for £99, it has speed camera warnings and traffic light camera warnings. It has excellent spoken instructions and if you take a wrong turn accidentally or deliberate it emediately recalculates and gets you back on track no problems.Well worth the money.

Garmin i3 £99.99 if you can find one.

What is the make/model of the you brought?

"don't want to get lost!"

That's a contradiction in terms when referring to sat nav, isn't it?

What's wrong with a map book?

I have a Garmin i3. Motorworld have them on-line as well as instore for £99.

I guess you could say it is.

I would use a map, but it doesn't quite locate houses in the same way as sat nav!

Not sure what you are getting at :but before my tom tom i used to use a map to find my customers often having to stop and refer to the map.Now i just punch in the post code and get there no probs, speed cams, traffic conjestion alternate routing, blue tooth mobile, and more. ok they are not perfect ;but i'll settle for 99%.

Try one you'll soon dump your old maps.

oh, I got muddled up with what you were saying in your first comment, now I get what you mean.

I would quite happily go for something like Tom Tom but I'll just have to settle for what I can afford, which isn't much!

you were right in your first comment
