has anyone got one of these to work? The foppy is ok but the card reader shows yellow in the Device manager & when I try to update the driver it asks for the original disk which I have never had

I can't see anything about this device on te Samsung web site. Have you spoken to the supplier? You should have received a driver CD with the hardware. Do you have a device serial number or product code or model number?

I bought it a couple of years ago & if I received a driver cd I must have lost it but thanks anyway

As xania says, with a model number we could help you search for suitable drivers.

Which OS are you using btw? G

Some times, when you install new hardware, although the system does not say so, you still need to reboot your PC. If in doubt, reboot. There again, sometimes (inexplicably) a PC problem resolves itself after beiong left switched off over-night.

Oh - the wonders of computing!!
