I have recently bought a second hand V20 laptop. It came with no Internal CD drive so I purchased a SN-308 drive. The problem is the laptop does not recognise the drive in DOS or windows.
My friend has a Samsung V25 and I tried his drive in my laptop, which is a SN-124, whish works in my laptop. I then purchased an sn-124 drive and tried it and it still is not recognised so I though it must be the drive so I rang up the company and they sent another one. I tried that but it still wont recognise. What is the problem and how can I fix it?
I have tried 3 drives none of them work why is this?
Anyone had any similar problems and how have you fixed this problem
