Same bug? in Registry?

  geedad 16:49 05 Mar 2011

Invalid or empty file class .pl\OpenWithProgids\plfile HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.pl\OpenWithProgids.
This appears in Ccleaner when I clean the Registry. I clean it with Ccleaner, but it is there again when I clean up once more.
What causes this?

It may reside in system restore

The way to sort that is to disable system restore which deletes all the files, the only problem being you must be happy that you are willing to create a new restore point when you next boot your system

Try WinAso click here the free version is fully functional, although I think it will only clean 10 errors at a time.
I bought the Pro version years ago, and it has never put a foot wrong.

Thanks, both!
Tried WinAso. Didn't want to buy, so I spent about an hour deleting 10 errors, one after the other !!
It worked OK, now all I need to do is check it daily!
Thanks again.
