Hello i want to sell my Pc i would like to delete everything/files on it safely. Is it as simple as Recycle Bin or would another method do a better job? Thanks.

Best to get hold of dban:

you can get it for a floppy or a CD, then boot from it and get it to wipe it securely.

You could just format but in theory someone could get to the data if they wanted to.

It really is so easy I can't think of any reason not to if you are concerned about the data on your hard disk.

After using DBAN (which, as silverous, I also recommend) I assume you want to re-load your OS. Make sure you have all the correct drivers on a disc before you wipe the lot.
