Safe clean up

I want to get rid of almost everything fron my 2nd PC, is there an easy way to uninstall items safely so as not to upset my operating system settings,

I would hate to unistall something important!!

firstly run disk clean up from system tools then remove unwanted progs etc via add/remove in control panel.

Thanks guy's

So if i unistall anything from add/remove,there is nothing on there that would effect PC's settings?.

I do not even know what some of the items on there are!!

Depends what installed there may be updates
and windows utilities installed in there. Can you post whats in add/remove?

  Chezdez 12:37 26 Jan 2005

actually, probably better to take a screen dump of the add/remove program list (as many as necessary to get it all on), host it on a site such as click here, and then post links to the pictures on here

will save you an awful lot of time typing!

I always forget the screen dump, lol its somthing that is usefull but not used to its full potential.

How do you do that then?

  ACOLYTE 13:05 26 Jan 2005

Press print screen button when you have what you wont on the screen they paste it into an image viewer, save it and host it and a web addy like Chezdez posted. Then paste the url you get to the image.
