run-time errors

Over the last few weeks I've had 'Run time error' notices when on-line. (Like coming on to this site for example). It asks if I wish to debug and I say "No". It disappears and everything continues as normal. It is just annoying and I'd like to be rid of the nuisance.
Hellup!!!

Assuming Internet Explorer: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab.

Tick Disable Script Debugging

Untick Display a notification about every script error

Thanks VoG & woodchip.
I've got to hop in the bath. I'll try that.
It's XP by the way.
Thanks

Couldn't wait for the bath. Tried it. It was already set in the VoG suggested. So I did the opposite and then put it back. That may do it . Will advise in due course. Back to thwee bath and tks

I've gone on line. Afraid that that is not the solution.
More help please.

Go to search, look for IE.inf then right click it and choose install. See how it goes

Tks Woodchip. I tried it but it needs the CD. I'll get it out tomorrow and try.
I know it's not import6ant but it's so untidy. Tks for help thus far. Will keep you posted.

If you have a I386 folder on your computer it should be in there it should install from that if you use that file
