i have recently bought a medion wireless router with lan and adsl built in.

i am with tiscali ISP (broadband ADSL). However when i connect the router to the phoneline (ADSL line) it will not connect. It will go green saying connect and a second later it will go to red no connectivity.

i have looked on the tiscali website to ensure that i have the correct settings in the router but still no success.

I have also contacted medion technical helpline, who do not seem to have a clue as they just want to replace the device. This has been done 3 times already and non of them seem to work.

I know that it isnt my internet connection as as soon as i plug my old modem back in it connects with no problems

any help would be great as im pulling my hair out.

thanks

What are your adsl settings in the router?

Are you set to PPPoA?
