  robertson1990 22:33 28 May 2008

I have the Netgear 54 Mbps Wireless Router (WGR614 v6) and around every 25-30 minutes it will drop the connection to my internet. It says that my computer is still connected to the router, and my signal strength is 100%, but my router loses signal.

The router loses its signal for every 30 mins.. So check the firmware version on the router whether it is latest version or not.
to check the firmware version of the router,
step1:connect computer to the router.
step2:check computer getting ip from the router.
step3:open the browser window and on the address bar type in gateway of the router).
step4:enter user name and password for router.
step5:from the left side blue screen, you could find an option "router status". make a click on it.
step6:in that window it will show you the firmware version.check it is latest one or not.
the latest version for WGR614V6 is V2.0.19_1.0.19
stpe7:if version is older.. upgrade the firmware version.
