I get loads of java errors when the page opens, six copies of the following message

" load: class fphover.class not found.

Presumably one for each button.
I do have updated sun java loaded, so don't think the error is at my end.

Try uploading your site again...all of it.

OUCH! That's the sound of my browser crashing.

I use the Linux version of Mozilla Firefox. I usually run with JavaScript disabled. I entered the site, enabled JavaScript because I couldn't see the buttons, refreshed the page and still couldn't see the buttons. I switched JavaScript off again and refreshed the page which promptly crashed the browser.

I tried this exercise three times just to be sure it wasn't a fluke and three times it crashed.

thanks Belatucadrus,
I'm sorry tho' that it means nothing to me (thick or wot ?)
Am I right in assuming that this Java stuff just relates to the RollOvers ?
With my limited knowledge of this stuff, I had assumed that if it was working in View in Browser, that it was o.k (tho' I have another image missing that 'seems' o.k in View in Browser).
I wasn’t aware that I was actually using Java.
(I e-mailed 1&1 mid week for advice from their end, but they haven’t replied,,,, yet).
For the time being, I’d better revert to the old hypalink.
thanks for reading this - Furkin

Were's the 'Silly clock'? I can see 4 scripts refering to it in the code, but it doesn't show in my system.

OCTEL: oooops, sorry octal, I hope I havn't caused you damage.
As you will tell (see reply to Belatucadrus) I am not well up on this stuff.
ANDY.SD: I did actually download the whole thing a week or so back, & re did the lot (mainly through image links not working)
At the moment, the index page gets renewed very regularly, as I am still playing with it.
Thanks again to you all.

I liked that clock - it's the only thing that I 'thought' had used Java. It didn't work, so I thought I'd deleted it ! (must stop 'thinking', it's doing me no good !)
