Rogue Diallers

Can anyone help me prevent a porn site forcing my computer to dial-up a premium rate number? I have disconnected my modem from the phone line but although I have cable broadband I use the dial-up modem for faxing. I have never wanted access to porn and resent intensely the invasion of my machine, which is tantamount to trespass. Any help to stop these peverts in their tacks would be much appreciated.
