Roaming Profile 18:31 17 Aug 2007

Hi there,
I have just set up a windows 2000 advanced server, and some Windows XP Pro workstations.

I need a quick network for now, so have not bothered setting up active directory, or DNS on the server.

I have set up roaming profiles on the server, for the user accounts.

I am unsure how to set the workstations up to use the roaming profile, and so I found the profile bit in the windows regestery, and changed this to the windows share.

When I try to log on to an accout suposively setup to use the roaming profile, am message comes up basically saying

Access Denied

Does anyone know how I can fix this, or If I have set it up right?

Many thanks 19:18 17 Aug 2007

I went and Used the computer management windows, and then the snap-in, Users and Groups

btw, I have made sure file permissions were set to allow for all. I can get into the file browsing to it as well - and i am very confused as to why the computer can't seam to!

Many thanks 08:22 18 Aug 2007
