Where are you getting that 115Mbits reference from? Are you referring to the file size in Mbytes?

Hi ade.h
from media player tools, options rip music, rip settings, audio quality.

  ade.h 18:08 26 Dec 2005

The settings available are listed in Kbits per seconde (the bit rate) and Mbytes (the approximate size of each file.

Which of these factors are you most concerned about?

b = bit

B = byte

Hope that helps in distinguishing between the descriptions

I was wondering if the quality would be okay at the settings I quoted.

At 256Kbits per sec, it should be fine. That is twice the bit rate of most downloads (so it will also take up twice the disk space). Ultimately, your ears must be the judge.

Thanks ade.h will give it a whirl
