Hi Folks, I recently purchased and installed Windows Vista, but i don't like it and want to revert back to Windows XP. Does anyone know how i do this? I don't have a recovery cd.

Thanks Folks

Format the hard drive and do a fresh install from a full XP disc. But what don't you like about Vista? Stick with it - it's a lovely OS. I wouldn't go back to XP if you paid me.

wolfman 10: Don't blame you mate. I waited several years before risking going from 98 to XP. (Only took the plunge after SP2 appeared.) MS software is always full of flaws & security leaks.

A couple of days ago I helped a beginner set up a new Vista laptop. Glitches here there and everywhere. (E.g. It wouldn't let us set up a second user; the sidebar mysteriously disappeared, then caused a lock-up, etc. MS Works was up to its usual tricks, so I just uninstalled it & put some decent software on, OpenOffice, after a free download...) Microsoft is soooooo overrated.

One of these days, when I've got the readies, I'm going to get a Mac...

I used a Norton Ghost image to go back - do you have anything similar?
