If I revert to IE6 do I have to cancel automatic updates, or can I stipulate IE6 as my standard and not be automatically regraded?

I can't see Bill issuing any updates to IE6 so there would appear to be little point in leaving auto update enabled.

If you revert to IE6 from add remove ,Make sure show updates is ticked,And it will remove the IE7 up-dates also. When in IE6 just go into Control Panel ,Security Center and check to see if it is set to automatic up-date.

If you are reverting because of problems You could try disabling the explorer add ons first might make it work better.

Uninstall Windows Internet Explorer 7 from Control Panel > add or Remove Programs to revert to IE6. Then run this click here

Problem solved. Many thanks to all, especially buteman and VoG. The blocker programme was ideal. I'm back with something that works for me!!
