ReturningmSitecom Router, gonna try BT 2110

Evening Chaps,
Had no luck at all with the above mentioned modem/router, so returning it tomorrow. Instead, I think I'll get the Wireless BT Voyager 2110 - had pretty good reviws on Amazon and is incidentally, the one recommended by my ISP

What I'm not sure of though, I think I've read that it's possible to connect the modem/router to the Desktop PC and have the Laptop connect(using Dongle)wirelessly in the network. If it can be set up this way, I don't think I'll need a dongle for the desktop PC as well will I?

If you mean will you need a wireless dongle to connect the Voyager to the desktop then the answer is no. The Voyager connects via Ethernet cable.

Thank you, so I can then put the Dongle in the Laptop and that'll make the network of Desktop & Laptop?

Yep, you got it. The Dongle in the Laptop will make the wireless connection to the router and connect you to the Internet.
