I have had a Samsung nc10 Netbook for just over 2 years. Recently (after my children and friends had been on it) I restored it back to factory settings and now I can't download updates, programs, anti virus. They all start off with good intentions but 20% into downloading it will freeze (doesn't freeze the pc just the download) however I can still use the internet.

I have even trieed downloading programs through my desk top to a flash drive and loading them on but same thing happens - so ther must be a missing programme that assists either unpacking or executing the dowloading???

Can some one advise me so I can get it working?

Thanks

Try Device manager and see if there is any yellow exclamation marks beside and of the Drivers.

Looks like you need this.it usually downloads with Windows Updates.

You have to choose the proper one for your Netbook.

Buteman - just done this and there are no yellow exclamation warnings. Anything else I can try?

Hey Buteman - thank you ever so much - it worked a treat. You're a star
