How do you delete restore points in windows xp?

question; why do you wish TO delete a restore point?

I have been told that they use a lot of disc space

You can delete all of them by turning SR off then on again click here

You can delete all but the last restore point by Start > All Programs > accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup > click OK then after it has finished calculating click the More Options tab.

To reduce the amount of disk space used, right click My Computer > Properties > System Restore tab, settings button.

other problem of course is that if you have not GOT them and NEED them.....

once they are gone, they are gone; and you will have to create a new restore point; I suggest also be glad your version OF windows has that facility
