How do i set an earlier restore point in Windows Vista

As far as I know, you cannot set an *Earlier* Restore Point! But you can set a Restore Point as at this moment in time.

Though I have had a thought - if you Restore to an earlier date now, you could then set a present Restore Point, which in effect would be restoring to an earlier time. If that makes sense :-)
