Restore "bootup section" in XP Pro

I shouldn't have done it!.....
Tired of HyperOs and happy with Achronis I've repartitioned and overwritten C: which !ONLY! carried the boot manager for all three different installations.

Have tried repair with XP CD, but it still wont work after copying three files it asked for!

bootconfig /scan - confirms there are 3 systems available to add!!
I suppose now that they were all governed from the overwritten C: which has my main intallation cloned to it but no way of booting it.

A lot more looking around has baffled rather than helped.

What can I do short of reinstall C: -please?

The logic was that there were 3 drives all with Windows XP Pro and very different apps loaded.

There was simply no Boot information to find and load things.

Repair from the install CD took me as far as it could, and left me to struggle with the DOS like commands which (with much reference through google on my laptop) eventually rebuilt the default Bootcfg settings.

It seems fire on all cylinders, so tomorow I will start a fresh load of Acronis backups to have at least somewhere to go if I get too keen again and upset a good system!
