Request regarding "Resolved"...

Being a nosy old so and so, I am always curious as to how certain problems are resolved. There are some folk who seem to regard it as a secret.

Please do share the secret, might help others too!

I tend to agree. It can be a bit frustrating whne you are following a thread and suddenly the issue is ticked as resolved but the method of its resolution has not been revealed.

You could always continue the thread even after the green tick shows and ask the originator how the problem was sorted.

Agree, been said many times before.

Although it took me a while when I first started to realise that. I used to enter a thank you message and who/how solved the problem but then ticked the box and clicked on Resolved.

I later found out on reviewing my post that my final response wasn't there.

You have to post the final response first and then go back in and tick the box and Resolved. Maybe that is what is happening in some instances?
