I have a Foxconn mobo and it's based on AMD drivers. Fitting an Nvidia card resulted in a blank screen. Onboard gpu chip disabled by default by physically installing a GPU card. Had to remove the card, install Nvidia drivers, reinstall the card and it worked ok. As it is an Intel mobo, just physically installing an Nvidia card, connecting the monitor to it, might result in Windows generic drivers kicking in and you will have, at least, a display so that you can install the drivers.
