replacing laptop HDD

The HDD on my Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pi 1536 has failed. I have ordered a click here
to replace it. Are there any pearls of wisdom out there to help me fit it when it arrives, which won't be until Tue. I have never done this before, so i would appreciate help when i come to fit it please.

There seems to be lots of help here, including manuals. But it should be pretty easy once you know which cover its under. Just a matter of unscrewing, replacing the drive, and screwing back the cover.

Thanks ventanas, that looks easy enough. I never expected/thought to look in the manual !!!

I will use that when it arrives and post again if needed.

Well that was far easier than I expected. It was just a straight swop of HDDs, partition and format and put the OS on.
