Replacing Graphics Card.

My present Graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce Mx420. It has 64mb of memory.

I am thinking of re[pacing it with a Gigabyte Radeon 128mb card.

1 my AGP slot is x4 my possible new card is x8. Will it work on my mother board?
2. Will I notice any difference or do I need to spend vast amounts of money?

I only game very occasionally.

1) yes

2)depends on which " Gigabyte Radeon 128mb card " you pick.

The card I was looking at was a "Gigabyte Radeon128mb AGP VO" . Dabs were selling it at £33.46.

As I said in my earlier post, I only game occasionally so dont really want to fork out a large sum of money. Would the card I have chosen improve the graphics performance on my computer to a noticeable level? If not it is not worth the hassle.

To my mind it's big improvement over a MX 420;-)
