Medion Desk top fitted with Ralink RT25000 USB wireless lan card Driver Version 2.0.30

I am having continual problems loosing my wireless card on start up, prety sure it is service pack 3 which is messing it up. I have tried downloading updated software but have had no luck. I want to replace this card with another one, can you give me any advice on what to replace it with?

click here If you are using it on a desktop then I would go for something like this one so you can get it away from the interference of the electrics at the back of the PC, you could even put a USB extention on it to get it up higher.

I have one of those Strawballs, crap build quality and bad/intermittent reception. Try a Netgear model instead.

I have never used that model but it was the fact that you can get it away from the electrics at the back

I was looking to replace card in computer as I have no problem with reception as computer is only about 3m from hub, but can't run cables across floor to it to fit Lan cable
