Care to expand your answer?

johndrew means you'll need to use a xp home to repair a xp home system.

You could use the XP Pro disk if you only needed a system file check, but not a full repair.

I really didn`t think it necessary to expand on a simple answer to a basic question. The reason there is XP Pro and XP Home is because they are different; if there was no difference there would be only one title. Hence it is not possible to do a `Repair` of one with the other.

As rawprawn says, a file check will work as the XP Home files are contained in XP Pro, but not all XP Pro files are contained in XP Home - as I understand the two sets of software.
