Repair LEXMARK printer ??

  roygbiv 20:04 20 Feb 2004

Lexmark Z55e printer. NO ink coming out on paper. 16 months old ! New carts (half empty). Reinstalled drivers. It seems like the ink has just dried up, in a matter of one day
Still nothing. Is it worth repairing?. (cost ,new £50). XP, USB connection

i've just binned my printer today which cost me eighty odd pounds not so long ago, it's not worth the bother trying to fix just buy another one! it will save you time and extra expense!! Nik

niknax is right; the cost of repair would almost certainly exceed the cost of a new one.

Its the age we live in!.

I had a Lexmark fail just after Xmas, one year old. Just binned it. The cartridges cost more than a new one.

Didn't buy another Lexmark though.
