Renaming mails in Outlook Express

When opening OE Inbox,in the column with the "From" and "Received" sections, the name of the Sender identifies the message. However, if several
messages from the same sender are received, then one has to open each of these messages to find the one which contains the information of interest.
Is it possible to rename or edit the "From" column so that the content of the messages can be easily identified? For example: 10 messages all from Adam about a forthcoming conference. One contains the flight schedule. Is is possible to edit the "From" column which shows only "Adam" to read "Adam-schedule" so that when one needs to find the schedule, one knows exactly which message to open?

No it isn't possible.

I suggest you ask Adam to put helpful titles on his messages - all too many people don't bother to do this.

All you can do is sort the From column into alphabetical order to group all "Adam's" messages together. One click on the column heading 'From' for A-Z and another click for Z-A. Then return to date order in the same way. In theory you could do the same on the subject column, but it would have very little meaning.

To quickly scan the content of each mail you can open the Inbox and click on the Find button. In the box that opens type "Adam's" name in the From box and click Find Now. A list of all emails from him will be displayed. Open the first one, and then using the Next down arrow scroll through the messages.

SU and DS,
Guess the answer is that it cannot be done.
Obviously "Adam" needs to shape up.
