Removing unwanted homepage during internet session

  MannOne 19:15 19 Apr 2004

When I start-up an internet session , an unwanted homepage appears. I must have 'caught it' during my surfing sessions.
Tried to remove it by selecting the 'use blank' tab in Internet options but it has not helped. It keeps appearing time and again.
How do I remove the link permanently and what software do I use to prevent this from happening again?

You've been hijacked mate, if you do a search in the Helproom for hijack or hijacked you'll find loads of threads with links to all the relevant advice and programs to use.
