removing password

I have xp pro/sp2 I want to remove the startup password so pc boots and loads without entering a password,I have adminstrator rights and the password so how do I go about it?
P.S i've tried entering a blank password but did n't work.

1. double-click User Accounts.

2. Click the user account.

3. Click "Remove my password".

4. Type the password in the "Type your current password" box, and then click Remove Password.

type this into run ..."control userpasswords2" and hit enter. Hit the reset password button and just hit OK to leave it blank.
