Removing Limewire

Hi

I have bought my Mother a second hand laptop running Windows XP.

Because I didn't have orignal system CD for XP rather than format the Hard drive I have just deleted unwanted programs via Add/remove programs.

However on trying to remove Limewire or something the machine keeps getting a pop up saying Limewire Launcher Error.

I also not that there is a folder still titled Limewire. I have tried deleting this folder but keep getting a message saying "cannot delete clink.jar, access denied"

Does have anyone have any ideas / suggestions?

I am going to see my Mother tomorrow and hopefully would like to clear this.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Steve

If you have removed it from Add Remove. Run C Cleaner and that might clear any leftover bits from the registry. After running C cleaner ,Try search and see if it finds anything on there,Limewire has its own removal Yool, So If you do find it in search open the removal folder and run it.That may get rid of it.
