removing 'isolated' e-mails with viruses

My Norton anti-virus advises that an e-mail from 3DKENNINGTON@LOGIC.BM - SUBJECT RE:- MY DETAILS HAS A VIRUS IN THE ATTACHMENT.
I'VE DELETED IT BUT WOULD LIKE SOME HELP IN ENSURING THAT IT IS ENTIRELY REMOVED FROM EQUIPMENT IN CASE IT IS INADVERTANTLY OPENED AT A LATER DATE.
ANY IDEAS?

I do have GO-BACK installed. If I go-back before the receipt time will this have the desired effect?

If you deleted it, then it is gone. Goback should doubly reassure you, I suppose.

Simply run a full scan with Norton and you will be ok.
