Does anyone know how to remove fingerprint's off an LCD screen safely?

a clean damp cloth and small amount of detergent.dry with paper towel.wont do it a bit of harm.

It is UNWISE to even touch TFT's.

Mine has NEVER needed a clean from fingerprints.

Alan,,,,, hi dont know much about LCD, but on my run oh the mill monitor and digital camera veiwer and lens, i use a lens cleaning spray(you know for your reading glasses)and a piece of absorbent lint works for me Mammak
ps. i have kids so finger prints are an issue a big one lol

Both husband & grandchildren leave fingerprints on my coated monitor screen - I use soap on a damp soft cloth, then remove soap with damp sponge and then spend about half an hour with a soft dry lint-free cloth, polishing!

I've also been wondering about this for a while, I've found rubbing it gently with a Swiffer duster works, if I wet my TFT it just leaves it marked.
