Removing "corrupted" components

  373Bob 00:03 17 Feb 2007

Whilst trying to access the Amazon website, Adobe Reader 7 appeared and the screen froze; clearly a case of software conflict! A few days before I had completed the requested McAfee suite upgrade and I had run the scanning program. It would appear that, unwisely, I had selected that the registry be checked; and following this decision possibly parts of Adobe Reader 7 were removed. I have tried to re-install via an internet download, but the programme will not install. Any help and suggestions would be most welcome
