Removing adverts from DVD's

Eighteen month old grandson doesn't appreciate waiting through 10 to 15 minutes of adverts before Postman Pat et al can be watched. Is there a program I can use to load the DVD onto my computer, remove the adverts and then transfer to another disc? I know this is theoretically copying copyright material, but if they stop me fast forwarding past the adverts it is their fault! Bring back video tapes!

Yes apart from purchased ones there is a freebie called dvd shrink you'll find it on google. Once you have it PM me and I'll run through how to do it if needed .I'm surprised an 18 month cant work the fast forward on the dvd I thought they were all born with the gift
Cheers
