how do i remove the shortcut arrows on my desktop icons

then delete. It doesn't remove the prg, just the shortcut

no mate i mean the little arrows that overlap the actual icon itself, showing that whatever's on your desktop is in fact a shortcut as opposed to something actually installed on the desktop

If you go to tweakxp web site it will tell you how to remove it in the registry for good.

It works I've removed all mine.

i think u had a few of us there.
can't u just rt click/drag to the bottom taskbar provided it isn't locked?
Thats what i did but then again am on xp. sure it's the same in vista.

yeh tried that - dont work - and another things, the program that keeps coming up, either in the links posters have provided or on the internet is by frameworxx or something like that, ive tried it and for some reason it doesnt work :(
