Remove page in a word Document

I have created a multi-page document in word (XP), and after editing it I have pages that I no longer need. How can I remove these pages, so I can renumber it

Go to the end of the page prior to the one you want to delete and press the Delete key on the keyboard until the relelvant pages are gone.

But make sure you have a contingency copy first!!!

Higlight all the test you don't want. Press the delete key. Tidy up the line spacing.

If you have used automatic methods of page numbering, the numbers should sort themselves out.

Yes..but while doing the above click on your show/hide icon on the tool bar so that you can see what you are will how many hard returns you have to delete then! The show / hide icon is to the right and looks a bit like a double lined 'P'.

Thanks all, You would think that Microsoft would have an easy way to select and remove a page from a document, without having to do it all manually
